Automation Personnel Services is Hiring a Press Brake Operator Near Decatur, AL
Pay Rate
$18.00-20.00 per hour depending on experience.
Schedule and Hours
Monday through Thursday, 6:30 am to 4:30 pm.
Press Brake Operator Duties and Responsibilities
- Read and interpret shop drawings, specifications, and verbal instructions to determine machine setup, dimensions, production methods, tolerances, and sequence of operation.
- Operate shear, band saw, milling machines, drilling machines, sanding machines, grinders, or other equipment as needed.
- Inspect and measure machines workpieces to verify conformance to specifications to ensure that defective material is not moved to the next workstation.
- File, sand, shape, and clean machined parts.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- At least 1 year of press brake machine required.
- Background check and drug screen required.
- Follow safe work practices.
- Must be detail-oriented with good organizational skills.
